![]() In the merchant navy syllabus candidates are taught about shipping management, cargo machine and marine communication, and principles of navigation.īy pursuing this course you can find employment opportunities in companies like the shipping corporation of India, great eastern shipping and essar, chowgule shipping, etc. Admission to merchant navy courses is done on the basis of merit basis via entrance exams like IMU CET, JEE Main, TMI-BITS-EE, etc. Candidates also pursue Pre-sea Nautical diploma courses after Class 10th. Candidates can pursue Merchant Navy courses after completing their Class 10+2 and apply for bachelor's degrees like B Tech marine, B Tech naval architecture, ocean engineering, BBA in shipping, etc. If you can fit it in, I'd definitely try to get it.Merchant Navy is a shipping sector and is in charge of transporting freight and passengers along marine routes. RL is definitely worth getting on most DDs, and especially torp-focused or DD hunter ones, and pretty much required for any competitive use. The low and mid tier DDs get some benefit from GtG, but once you get to the higher ones the points are better spend elsewhere IMO. Some people may not need them, but there's a reason almost every DD build guide has SE as the first 3 point skill, and AR tends to be the first or second 3 point skill recommended for most surface ships. Unless you're one of the few people that can play a torp DD without taking any damage, the extra health could (literally) be the difference between life and death when you're detected, and AR will activate in pretty much every battle. ![]() I've tweaked some of their builds for my own ships, but both Halland builds (generic torp build and Halland alt build) are solid options.Īs far as the 3 point skills go, SI is nice for the extra heal, but the lack of SE and AR is concerning. This is my general/go-to for build recommendations, either as a straight recommendation or starting point for your own builds. ![]()
